Dr Maryam Mohamed Hussein, Minister of State for Health, met with Ismail Emre KOSIF, Deputy Ambassador of Turkey to Somalia (Charge de Affaires / Deputy Head of Mission) at the Turkish Embassy in Mogadishu.
The conference consisted of an exchange of information regarding activities and health care, particularly the Covid-19 vaccination. The Turkish government is one of several nations that have donated the Covid-19 vaccine to the Somali government in an effort to fight the covid-19 pandemic. And to protect society, the Turkish government and people will always stand with the Somalian government and people.
The Minister of State for Health, Dr Maryamo Mohamed Hussein, praised Turkey and Somalia for their collaboration.
